When all else fails (because it will) Read the Word (because He won’t)

Actually, don’t wait until all else fails (because it will), read the Word now and again and again (because He has not, will not, and literally cannot fail you ever).

To fail would contradict His Word, and His Word is not only faithful and true, it was written and given to me and you.

His Son, Jesus, and His Holy Spirit were given to us, too, and the trifecta of that Trinity teaches, testifies, and tells an indisputable truth that will never fall short, return void, or fall through.

It is a rock solid foundation we can build our life upon.

No war waged against it will defeat it.

No storm that rages against it will deplete it.

We are all desperate for truth, and it’s so hard these days to know what is true, especially when we are inundated by all the news and opinions as we endlessly and mindlessly scroll through our social media feeds.

This online space is programmed to give us just enough to keep us wanting more, and our algorithms send us to echo chambers that may tout the truth, but continually give us lesser substitutes that will never truly satisfy our insatiable hunger and thirst for the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Because you see, that insatiable desire we have for truth, can only be satisfied by the infallible Word of God.

So more than reading this post or my words about His Word, I would implore you to go straight to the source and read His Word for yourself.

Stop scrolling. Start seeking. Don’t just seek specific scriptures that will back your personal bias. Seek the very face of God. He loves you. He knows you. He longs to be in a relationship with you so you can know Him intimately, too.

When all else fails (because it will)

Read the Word (because He won’t)
