I Write Words, but He Rights Hearts

I don’t consider myself an online influencer or a content creator. I don’t create for content sake, and I don’t seek to influence others by the words I write.

I do, however, pray that God would use the words I write to encourage all those who read them to be influenced by Him alone as my words hopefully point them to His Word.

Writing takes time — time to propose (initial thought), time to suppose (further thinking, praying, and processing), and time to compose (engaging creativity to trusting God to bring life to the words I write).

There is such beauty in the process of proposing, supposing, and composing. Wrestling with thoughts, reading the Word, trusting my Savior, so ultimately His voice through His Word would be heard.

For me, personally, the process of writing would be empty and meaningless without His help, His hope, and His heart.

His help is always available for all who want it, need it, and ask for it…

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬, ‭ESV‬‬)

His hope is the very reason I write, create, and desire to influence anyone. The hope He alone can give carries with it the power to truly, completely, and fully live.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” (Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬, ‭ESV‬‬)

His heart for humanity has been evident throughout history, embodied in the Trinity, equipping us for eternity. His heart to seek and save the lost moves my heart to speak and be brave. I long to communicate the Gospel in a way that will resonate.

“But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬-‭7‬, ‭ESV‬‬)

I write words to you because His Word was written for us.

I don’t want to merely influence you, I want to infuse you with purpose to pursue the influence that comes from knowing Him and being known by Him.

I create content in hopes that we all would be truly content with our Creator.

“And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭3,‬ ‭ESV‬‬)
